Heavy on the exam
Experience & advice
I'm new to fairly new to Claude and just last month (September 2026) I completed the CCAO-F exam after preparing it for 2 weeks. Right after that without any gap, I started preparing for CCAF. The exam is fairly difficult, I almost gave up on passing because the questions were quite confusing given that i dont actually have any hands on with Claude cause it costs for API, and i was mentally preparing for a retake. To my surprise, I did clear it with 781 score, not that great but good enough. I went through an course that my organisation has prepared, writing notes all along. My advice, please complete all the certsafari practice questions, they will DEFINITELY help you. Other resources are some good playlists on Youtube to brush up. GL!!!

I havent encountered with CI/CD question, it really was difficult. There I have spent lots of times, I didnt known about bare, append system promt, how to pass context, it is real gap. Actually a real exam contains the similar question like here but more vague answers, real hard tochoise one of them, in cersafari the answers more clear

The exam questions are very similar to the Certsafari practice mock tests. My suggestion is to focus on learning the concepts in each domain and complete the domain-wise mock exams separately. This approach helps build a stronger understanding of the topics and makes it easier to crack the exam

The exam questions were pretty similar to the practice questions on CertSafari. So you can really prepare for the exam by doing quizzes here, studying answers and memorizing patterns. I'd also recommend to separately study claude cli flags and usage.

CertSafari mock exams were really helpful for me getting this certification. In the actual examination, options were more confusing and multiple options seems like correct than in the CertSafari exams. But reading questions few times and understanding the scenario will eventually lead you to the right answer if you are prepared good. I recommend to attempt CertSafari exams multiple times until you consistently hit 90% or above, which will make your fundamentals strong and build enough confidence.

The questions are fairly similar to what's in CertSafari (about 70%) and they're a bit harder. The biggest difference is that the answers on the exam are mostly all correct and you have to choose the "most correct" one. My strategy was to quickly move through all questions, answer those with high confidence and then repeat the cycle, giving myself more time to think on those harder ones.

The exam is more difficult than CertSafari, but a consistent simulation score of above 90% here should be a good indicator. Thank you CertSafari!

Very very plausible identical answers, even a dot difference would make one question write or wrong

Unlike the CCDV-F, which was easier than the practice exams, in this case the actual exam was somewhat more complex. The answers were ambiguous and difficult to eliminate.

Question texts are big and complex to comprehend. Practice domain specific and full exam at least few times before attempting.

Questions was too hard and for many questions all answers looked correct. Complete your certsafari coverage 100% before going in exam

Fairly easy when working with Claude. Questions are pretty similar to the ones supplied here. Went with 96% performance and 73% coverage and got a 966

For me, I found it difficult and got confused while choosing the most accurate option. I feel this was mainly because of my limited experience working with real products and dealing with day-to-day situations. I think the examples mentioned in the guide would help you tackle this issue. Once you consistently score 90+, you can proceed with the Anthropic questions. I would recommend taking the test three times and scoring 90+ each time. This will help you identify and close any knowledge gaps and reduce confusion between different domains and sections.

Well, it was hard to prepare, even though I had an experience. I got around 80% here on the platform, but exam itself seemed to be easier afterwards. Always keep your attention on the details of the question

CertSafari helped me a lot while studying for the exam, but one thing I think needs to be made very clear is that the actual exam questions are quite different from CertSafari’s. The biggest issue isn’t necessarily that the questions are harder. It’s that they’re much more ambiguous. By comparison, CertSafari’s questions are much more straightforward, and it’s generally easier to understand what the question is actually trying to test. For native or highly proficient English speakers, this probably makes the exam significantly easier. But if English isn’t your first language, the difficulty can increase dramatically.

I started to learn everything with native-language and then do exam course again and again until 50% is achieved of problem coverage. I noted and memorize some words which I cannot understand and even a keyword to resolve problem.

The questions really try to confuse you. Try and read through the lines to understand what its asking. Also, if you tend to read slowly ask for more time. 2 hours wasn't enough to finish the test.

Although I spent 50% of time for multiple AWS/GCP/Azure certification exams, I finished CCAR-F in almost 2 hours without even having time to review flagged questions. I spent much time for some long questions. Some question answers were very similar.

Getting general idea of how Claude expects you to use it and being very clear about these topics will help you identify the correct option to the question. Ensure to focus on the goal the question is seeking. Some questions look for better path or improvements to existing process or it might be personal implementation choice compared to team wide application. This alone will help you dismiss the distractors (or wrong options). My exam had one domain at a time. So, I dint have to read the domain again for next 15 questions. I guess it might the actual format. Use the strike-off feature to strike off the obviously wrong answer to focus on the remaining ones. This will help in time management. 120 mins is more than enough. Don' stress out.
