Your privacy is not for sale

Your privacy matters to us. Here's exactly what we do and don't do with your data.

    Our Privacy Promise

We don't track you individually. We don't sell your data. We never will.

Unlike many competitors who track you extensively for commercial gain, we've built CertSafari with privacy as a core principle. We don't collect personal information, use invasive tracking, or sell data to third parties.

    What We Do Use

Plausible Analytics (Privacy-First): We use Plausible Analytics to understand overall site usage. It's a privacy-first tool that:

    • Privacy-first: Plausible uses minimal data collection and respects your privacy
    • No individual tracking: We only see aggregate statistics (total page views, referrers) - no personal data, no individual user tracking
    • GDPR compliant: Fully compliant with privacy regulations, no consent banners needed
    • Open source: You can verify their privacy claims - learn more about Plausible's data policy

Server-side quiz progress storage: Your quiz progress and history are stored on our servers to provide a reliable experience across devices. This data is associated with an anonymous User ID (UUID) that you can view and manage in your profile. This allows you to sync your progress across devices by using the same User ID on multiple devices, without needing to provide any personal information like an email address.

    • We collect anonymous completion statistics to report quiz history and progress back to you, and to improve questions.
    • You can clear browser data anytime to reset your anonymous ID
