Our Privacy Promise

We don't track you individually. We don't sell your data. We never will.

Unlike many competitors who track you extensively for commercial gain, we've built CertSafari with privacy as a core principle. We don't collect personal information, use invasive ad tracking, or sell data to third parties.

What We Do Use

Server-side functional data storage: To power core app features across devices, we store your quiz activity and private study data on our servers. This includes quiz progress/history, whether answers were correct or incorrect, when you use the copy AI prompt action, and private notes you create. This data is associated with an anonymous User ID (UUID) that you can view and manage in your profile. You can sync this data across devices by using the same User ID, without needing to provide personal information like an email address.

✓Private notes are private to your account context and are only visible to you by default.
✓We use anonymous completion statistics to report quiz history and progress back to you, and to improve questions.
✓You can clear browser data anytime to reset your anonymous ID

Exam experience reports: If you choose to submit an exam attempt report, we store your result, score, exam date, prep details, topic tags, and your free-text advice. Only if you explicitly opt in do we also store and display your verified name, certification badge URL, and LinkedIn profile URL. Reports are reviewed before publishing.

✓Public display is opt-in. Your verified name and LinkedIn only appear after your certification badge is verified; otherwise your submission counts only toward anonymous aggregate statistics.
✓You stay in control: you can delete a report, or make it anonymous, at any time from your profile.
✓We use this data to improve questions and readiness estimates, and — in the future — to power exam-readiness predictions for each certificate.
✓Reading other people's exam experience reports is, and will remain, free.
